    Exit Announcement

Is it possible to have an announcement popup for a user if they try to exit the page with the "X" instead of the exit button on the page? I want to make sure that they exit properly so that it logs them out of the chat...

    Short answer: nope.

Longer answer: You can trigger an onunload event to popup a warning or something, but it will not halt the unloading, nor is the the onunload event cancelable, so your alert will be left hanging alone, looking rather silly

Sorry, better auto-logout idle users or something.

Thanks beetle! I wasn't sure if it could be done or not
