    need some help please

    Hi all
dont know if this is for this section or the HTML section, sorry if it is in the wrong place.

i have a simple text link menu down the side of the page

    Home
    About
    Calender
    Workshops
    Articles
    Interviews
    Testimonials
    Gallery
    Links
    Contact

    all the links are purple
what i want to do is when a user click on a link, (lets say Articles) and the user is then taken to the articles page the menu will then show that link in a different color. (lets say pink) such as

    Home
    About
    Calender
    Workshops
    Articles
    Interviews
    Testimonials
    Gallery
    Links
    Contact

then once the user clicks on another link and is taken to a different page the Aricles link will return to purple and the new page link will turn pink etc etc

    hope this makes sense
    any help would be great!!
    thanks
    steve

Unless I miss my mark altogether here something like this in the body should work, although colors here are not correct.

    EG...

    <body background="path to background image" bgcolor="#000000" text="#C0C0C0" link="#4040FF" vlink="#4040FF" alink="#80FF80">

The links on the side must be in a frame of their own for this to work.

    Demo: http://mstrblstr.com/foldinator

Try it and let me know if I am wrong by all means... Would not be the first time that has happened...

MstrBlstr, the alink, vlink tags u provided are correct.... but that will apply for link on ur page,... so steve, if u want a diff. color for ur other links on the page.. u'll need to specify diff. link color for every individual link !
    Peace.

The other way you could do it is create an array which will highlight a link depending on what the URL is...

    Am i making sense??

I will post some code if you like?
