    Link problem with CSS

    A:link{
    color: #006666; text-decoration: none;
    }
    A: visited{
    color: red; text-decoration: none;
    }
    A:hover{
    color:yellow; text-decoration: none; background: #006666;
    }
    A:active{
    color: purple; text-decoration: none;
    }

    For some reason my visited links have an underline even though I specify text-decoration: none.
    Anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?
    Thanks

    Is that a space I see between "A:" and "visited" ? That would break it.

    Yes, it looks like the space is causing the problem.
    I ran it throught the validator:

    Errors
    URI : file://localhost/TextArea

    * Line: 4

    Parse Error - : visited

    Warnings
    URI : file://localhost/TextArea

    * Line : 2 Level : 1 Same colors for color and background-color in two contexts A:hover and A:link
    * Line : 2 Level : 1 You have no background-color with your color : A:link
    * Line : 11 Level : 1 You have no background-color with your color : A:active

    Thanks everyone. That seems to fix it.
    I must really say how helpful people are in these forums. It saves so much time and I have learned an enormous amount of info just reading the posts.
