How to setup a mirror site?

I have signed up with ATT to host the company's website.

The mother company in France has the possibility to host a site. I was thinking I could use the French site as a mirror, but I do not know what I need to do. So, what needs to be done and from which side, where can i get some help, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

This might be a tad basic. But isn't it just a case of uploading a copy of the site to webspace hosted on another server? Then you can put a link on the main site to the URL of the other.

Or is it something completely different that you wanted to know?

Hi,

My understanding of mirror sites is just that -- the same files, with the exception of mutual links, are uploaded to all addresses. The directory structure also needs to be identical. The rationale for having a mirror site is twofold:
1) distributes the traffic
2) acts as a backup

A minor site can also be called an alternative site to download.

It means it is the same file upload to 2 different server
one in france server and another one in french server.
