    Problem with Netscape

    Good day everyone,

    I am in the process of designing this website and have a problem in Netscape where a white line shows up separating two tables. The pages looks good in IE, but I seem not to be able to figure out the cause of the line. I was hoping some other eyes could help discover what is causing the line under the menu.

    thanks,

    How annoying! I usually find that this sort of thing is caused by a line break in the code. I haven't trawled yours .... that's your job!

    But as an example:

    Code:
    <div><img src="path/img.jpg">
    </div>
    can sometimes cause something like that whereas:

    Code:
    <div><img src="path/img.jpg"></div>
    will be fine ..... look for things like this and you may find your problem....

    I swear, one day, I'm going to replace myself with a broken gramophone record, but:

    Netscape 4.x, or Netscape 6/7 ? The answer will be radically different depending which version you're talking about.

    (Things look fine here in Mozilla 1.3)
