    Can't print footer properly

    I'm trying to have a document footer such that when I go to print, it appears on the bottom of the last or only page.

    I have the following CSS:
    Code:
    @media print {
      @page		 {}
      div.brknow	{page-break-before:always;
    		position:absolute;
    		bottom:10px;}
    }
    and of course <div class="brknow"> tags around my block of tables (what I call the "base section") that I want at the bottom of the printed page.

    What I get is my base section at the bottom of page 1, and all the text above it piles right into it and prints behind it. What I want to happen is for the base section to print at the bottom of the last page, or bump to the next page if there isn't enough room, and print on the bottom of that page. Seems like the page-break-before stops working as soon as I put an absolute position on it.

    Is there a way I can force it to print at the bottom of the last or only page, and, if necessary force a new page and print at the bottom of it if it will not fit onto what would otherwise be the last page?

    I'm willing to try anything, so please fire at will!

    Thanks,
    Caleb

    Which browser are you using? IE/Windows doesn't understand CSS2.

    Currently using Win2K, IE6.

    Because this document is used in a closed environment, I have the option of using any browser. Would a different browser make this work?

    I can get the page break to work in IE6, and the absolute position. But not both together.
