    Question Mac Issues - Borders around buttons and links

    Apparently the page i'm designing is appearing a bit nasty and funky on a Mac. The links and buttons on the nav bar have borders (in this case blue) appearning around them. Now i've set the border properties to 0, but still no result. Plus the links ?????? Is this a setting that the user could possible have set on their browser, or am I missing something. CSS problem?? I'm stumped.

    Pics of this evil phenomenon below.
    Thanks

    BQ

    It's called the 'focus border'.
    It's IE-specific (in that heavy-handed guise) and is a pet hate of mine.

    There are several javascript methods for removing it. Here is one.
    Code:
    function blurAll() {
      for (var i = 0;  i < document.links.length; i++) {
        document.links[i].onfocus = function() {
          document.links[i].blur();
        }
      }
    }
    ...
    Code:
    <body onload="blurAll()">

    Removing it can be a bit of a bone of contention.

    Oh, how we laughed and laughed.
