    I'm not saying that using a feature that is only supported by 1% of the browser market is unheard of, but I can't very well build an entire page around a feature that is only supported by 1% of the market.

    Well I suppose it you don't want to directly use script to get these results then application of XSLT would similar to a markup solution.

    Hypothetically the only real quandary being; normally when people count in the 'base ten system' they normally begin at the lower number and follow on, e.g. one, two, three, etc…

    Therefore does the number then become an attribute of a data element, or the representative of logical order - it reminds me of databases and the 'Entity Relationship Model'.
