yes, that's always annoyed me...apple seem unable (or, more likely, unwilling) to offer QTVR authoring tools for the PC. anyhow, tools such as http://www.vrtoolbox.com/vrthome.html do the job quite competently. if not, do a google search...most panoramic stichers for windows nowadays support QTVR export...but yeh, they all cost money.
