    Fun though...

There are loads of tests on the net, I prefer the stupider ones which can be found in amongst other stuff here:

Q: How many hours per day do you spend online/at a computer

My computer runs constant. I use it for everything. Music (450 mp3's), School, Chat, Games... No, I do have a real life girlfriend...

Q: Do you prefer interacting with actual real life people or people online?
Real life. People can see what you really mean, by your actions or tone of voice. Better to be in person instead of hiding behind a computer.

Q: Do you prefer using a computer to interaction with people?
    Yes, only scary people though

Q: Do you think you would be more or less happy if you decreased your computer usage?
It wouldn't matter. I go outside alot anyways so I could go eather way. Its good to have some atv's or snowsleds.. maybe even a bycycle you need to go outside some, dont wanna sit in a dark room with the computer monitor as the only light.. your pupils will grow big and your get white..
(* Alternative thought. Mayber thats what happened to aliens, they live in a dark area so their eyes are one big pupil and since its dark their skin turned white then to grey. they got small because they got lazy so they didnt need big bones and muscles.*)
    Man im just like Einstien...

Yeah, IQ is only potential, and basically no one meets their potential.

My father, for example, scores about a 132...but he gets more done than I've ever seen of anyone else in my life, and probably ever will see. I think he maximizes most of his potential.

Well, Christophe, nice having company up on my high horse (IE: not going to bragg) - arn't we just so wonderful?

Wow...I scored a 144 on the test I am pretty sure it is because I am so quick with numbers and great at mental math.

Q: How many hours per day do you spend online/at a computer
10 minutes or so on weekdays. No time for computing because I have school (usually about 5 [yes 5] hours of homework per day plus a job)

Q: Do you prefer interacting with actual real life people or people online?
Depends on a lot of things...some things you just can't do online and some things you can't do in person.

Q: Do you prefer using a computer to interaction with people?
    Instead of...?

Q: Do you think you would be more or less happy if you decreased your computer usage?
Not much to decrease, but I used to use the computer a lot more than I do now and I am not so happy

(If you are under 16 years of age, it is absolutely necessary to know your real age. Otherwise, your IQ Score will be much lower than it should be.)

IQ tests really only test reasoning, arithmatic, memory, and a few other aspects of intelligence.

They are however becoming much less popular as a benchmark to intelligence.

I am getting some of my non-net friends to do the test as they all get better amkrs than me at school and i want to get a comparison on that level.

    Thanks

    LuZeR - sorry, tough day

Yes means more happy. Sometimes I think I spend too much time doing this, but then, again, this is my job (also, means to communicate with people I know and love and good friends with who are too far away from me at the moment... )

I loved the IQ test - stopped in the middle of a 2nd page, got an email saying that I'm a genius - scored 175!!

(of course, like fs said, its not even a real IQ test)

Q: How many hours per day do you spend online/at a computer

12-16. I work on my computer all day long and play at night.

Q: Do you prefer interacting with actual real life people or people online?

Like Aspen, it depends on the person.

Q: Do you prefer using a computer to interaction with people?

Like Aspen, it depends on the person.

Q: Do you think you would be more or less happy if you decreased your computer usage?

Less. My income would go down significantly, and I would lose a hobby.

Q: How many hours per day do you spend online/at a computer

When I'm home, my computer is running and I'm online (cable internet), so on a free day, that would be something from 8 AM to 10-11 PM thus 14-15 hours a day. Else it's more like 5-7 hours.

Q: Do you prefer interacting with actual real life people or people online?
    Depends on the person.

Q: Do you prefer using a computer to interaction with people?
    Sometimes, depends on the person

Q: Do you think you would be more or less happy if you decreased your computer usage?
I would be mortally wounded. Seriously, it's my one big hobby and also one of the few ways to feel usefull.

Some time ago, I didn't have an Internet connection (the ISP was down) for five days and I was so terribly unhappy, especially since I just formatted the HD and I counted on the Internet to retrieve a lot of files.

Don't worry there are still a few of us around and maybe more than many think!

My ISP only connects at 26.4K and if I only viewed sites that opened in 4-seconds I wouldn't see a thing...but it sure teaches me patience

I got a 144 on that IQ test!

To answer the original question.. I enjoy spending a good deal of time on the computer, but it doesn't completely rule my life. Every so often, I have the strong urge to get out and do something "productive" Didn't realize there was such a thing as sunshine.....

I like interacting with people in a social atmosphere about as much as I like speaking to them online, so I really can't choose between the two. It's much easier for me to explain the technical side of web design over email or IM, though. I'm at my best when I work with my clients online, so that they can collaborate with me on web projects, graphic artwork, etc.

I must admit, I'm of that generation when using a computer is nearly second-nature and so I do prefer working online to interacting with people.. still there's that primitive urge to get out into the daylight every once in awhile

With that in mind, I would be quite unhappy if I had to decrease my computer usage!

I got 146 on the test but I rushed it and did the whole test in 8 minutes.. I thought there would be more to the one page and didn't want to run out of time.

I took a test in High School once and scored 162 which was higher than my teacher..

All IQ test really test though is how well you take tests. I know people who have barely any education and are brilliant only in different fields.
