    Photoshop - Sunburst?

    Hi there,

    Woud anyone tell me if there is a tool like sunburst in photoshop?

    I'm 99% sure that a sunburst custom shape ships default with Photoshop.

    I think you mean starburst....

    I mean one where you can have like a light shining from a certain part of your graphic - there is a tool in PSP to do it...

    Sorry, brain-glitch.

    Not sure prescisely what you mean, but you can probably get away with a lens flare + some post-processing. Can you attach an image of the effect?

    Sorry, haven't got paint shop pro with me.

    But its like really light in a certain spot, and it shines out towards the opposite corner it is in. If its in the middle, it shines out all in all directions.

    You were right, it's lens flare. Don't suppose you know how to make it shine out a bit more please?

    From what I can see here, you'll be able to get away with the lens flare filter. You may have to desaturate it and color-shift to a pale yellow, but I can't recall exactly; it's been a while since I played with it.

    Try duplicating the layer, then giving the bottom copy a slight gaussian blur.
