Layout is nice...I like the use of colors and the graphics.
Two things jump out at me though: the rounded corner on the bottom left - it's mis-aligned somewhat.
The other is that there isn't any main text/content in sight without scrolling down on each page...I'd recommend making the graphic headers a bit smaller if necessary to push the text up.
Your graphics and general layout are exceptionally good, except that they load quite slow.
Why is there so much space surrounding the logo? Eliminate some of that and get right to the content.
And, as Chris pointed out, the rounded corner at the bottom REALLY sticks out at me because it doesn't match the rest of that portion of the page (color wise).
Lastly, I like the photos, but most of them seem a little blurry. Try to make them more clear in the future.

I really don't know anything about baseball (downhere soccer is the most famous sport) but i like the site. The only one critics that i can write is about advertising spaces around banners. i really think that the black table isn't a good choice. i think that banners without any border should be better.

I would get rid of that "Welcome to HyperBaseball.com" graphic and maybe put in a welcome message or something.
The colors blend it pretty well with each other. I really would prefer it if you had under lines on the links so that you I can distinguish the links better.
It looks good and I would give the design and everything an 8/10.

Nice web site. A few problems though:
-- your main graphic looked like a low quality image since AOL surfers have their .jpgs compressed for them.
-- visitors may be annoyed with the ads on your page. Generally, I would put only one full size per page. Putting two and a smaller ad is pushing it.

I think that lines under the links would also be good. It would be a good idea to not have that java punch the monkey banner. VERY annoying.
It does look like you could optimize your HTML a bit.
Other than that - great site. Very clean, easy to get around.
