Question: How do you start a new business or service without messing your first few clients up?
It's a good question, but honestly, how would one know the procedure on something without having done something before, and if you're knew to it then you're first few customers would naturally be annoyed because you don't have the proper structure in place.

From the very beginning (i.e. initial pre-sales discussions), make it clear you are just starting up and there may be a few teething problems. Price yourself accordingly and if/when you do mess up, make sure you quickly put it right. Go the extra mile in other areas to make up for your lack of experience.
I also believe that there is so much freely available, quality information out there these days, it's actually fairly easy to have a pretty decent structure in place from the very first project. Forums like this are a fantastic resource. You just have the put the time in, researching, asking questions etc.
Other than that, get some help in. Hire someone who has been there before, either to consult with you or to be a partner in the business. Go on courses that will teach you how to deal with areas you may be struggling with, such as sales or marketing.
According to me for a new start business its very difficult to make contact between the customers and we have to provide the better services and make the reputation better in front of clients to gain the maximum profit.

for making good customers at the start of business , we should be polite to them & maintain good relationship with them.When you truly listen to your customers, they let you know what they want and how you can provide good service.
A carefully considered business strategies and actions would do that. You have to be fully equipped to satisfy your customers.

In the beginning, you should build a strong relationship with your customers. Offering good deals to make their expectations delighted. Fulfilling their needs. Responding to their feedbacks. This will reasult in long-term & profitable relationships with first clients.
