HTML Form Post Security
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes anyway.
I have an HTML form on my local machine. It consists of a button and a hidden field. It uses method="post" and the action points to a secure page that starts with https://.
My question is when I push that button, will a secure connection be established *before* it sends the hidden field from my local machine to the server? In other words, will the hidden field be encrypted?
If action="https://..." then all form data is sent encrypted
