CSS3 Does What Now?
Okay, this may seem like a stupid question type thing here, but I'm uber confused about CSS3, I have not been able to find any articles/blogs/websites/etc that have plainly stated anything along the lines of "this is CSS3, these are all the new things we can now do with CSS, here are some examples," etc.
Am I not finding anything because search engines hate me, am I not searching properly, or am I missing something in my thinking here?
Also, are there any validators that will validate it yet?
Any advice at all would be great -- thanks :)
Set options drop down to CSS3.
might be a good starting point if you are looking for info beyond what W3C publishes.
At the moment the only part of CSS3 that is actually finished is SVG. All browsers except for IE8 and earlier support that standard.
Various bits and pieces are being experimentally supported by browsers, like text shadow and border radius. Here is a list of what browsers are up to: http://www.findmebyip.com/litmus/#target-selector
Take a look at this site in firefox or Chrome - rather nice:
Remembering of course that until each piece actually becomes a recommended standard that there is at least a possibility that the way it works is still subject to change.
