can we compare 2 fields using %like% in mysql?

Anyone knows it possible to compare 2 fields using %like% in mysql?

eg t1.title = t2.author become t1.title like %t2.author% ?

I tried but is not working...

Wondering is there any other way to do this...

The syntax would be

WHERE t1.title LIKE '%' + t2.author + '%'
