I would like to make a small market study so please respond to this poll:
Have you ever heard of Rebol:
1°) I have never heard of it
2°) I have heard of it but never try
3°) I have tried it but didn't see any value
4°) I have tried it and have been stupified by its power and simplicity
5°) I have tried it but it lacks interoperability, I'm waiting for version 3
Can you precise when, how you did first heard of it (except by reading this post of course :D )
I vote never heard of it, because the first time I've heard of it is by looking at sitepoint and I saw one of your previous posts about this language.

I tried it back in the 90's and used it for a sort while to play around with code, it wasn't bad but it just didn't offer me anything worth sticking with and I lost interest pretty quickly, sorry to say it but for all it can do, it's not well documented outside the rebol website and it's become one of those obscure languages which floats around the sidelines... like eiffel, like I said on other threads you posted, it just isn't that "cool" a language :p
That is true it isn't well documented, that's why I didn't dwelve into it myself before I took the time to do so these last weeks and setup reboltutorial.com for helping people with Real world examples (for example how to call Twitter API, create Code Generators for other languages etc. )Quote:
