Fixed background and Firefox flickering Adesnse inputs

I am working on a project that uses a fixed body background. In Firefox Adsense ads flicker while scrolling. I read somewhere that this happens because of fixed body background in the CSS, but I couldn't find a solution. It's really annoying, and I have my heart set on the fixed background. Is there a work around for this?

I have solved the flicker issue for normal backgrounds but haven't seen an example of when the ads have been used on a fixed background. I know the overheads of fixed positioning can strain the browser even with normal content so I'm not surprised there is a flicker.

You'll need to supply a link so I can try some things out otherwise try the techniques I posted in the link.
