Hi, I'm marketing a friends site and their subject is fitness personal training. I would like to get some input from other peoplr as to what they may type in if looking for some help with fitness traiing.
So far the site does have meta tags, and the person who did these has put in "physique transformation" aswell as others. Now when you type in "pysique transformation2 in any of the top engines this site come up top in them all. However I don't think many people would type in this word woud they ?
my questions are..
1. Would you leave in "pysique transformation" as this is ranking well. (might as well leave it in huh ?
2. And what other words would you type in ?
I have some but am just looking for a bit of a brainstorm..
Cheers !!

No, I don't think many people would type that in, but you might as well leave it there because if a person does, and they find your site, then you might make another sale. Who knows...

I've been told to keep misspelled keywords as anyone can misspell a word...
Try Go.To's Search for keywords, it's meant for the bidding process, but works just as well to find related keywords for your site...
Hope this helps!

Most people would look for "excercise" or "muscle"...or something like that. "Physique Transformation" is WAY out there...I can't imagine anyone typing it in.

Definitely use goto's utility for keywords.

I would probably type in personal fitness if I were looking for such a site.

Get your mate to ask his clients what they would use to find his site, as they're his target audience.
Use phrases rather than words. Get those words into the body content as well as the tags. 1 - title, 2 - description, 3 - keyword.
Going for general words or phrases is counterproductive as you're appealing to a mass of people who probably don't care/won't buy off of you. Targetting your site to 'potential customers' is much more effective. Don't let massive visitor stats lead you away from sales stats.
Your mate wants more money right??

The keywords in the title are very important!
