Lightbox vs. Text Carats
I'm implementing a user feedback form onto my site using Lightbox Gone Wild (ParticleTree.com's adaption of Lightbox that allows HTML content).
In Firefox, the text carat (i.e. the blinking bar that indicates that you can type) doesn't always display when an input box is selected. However, sometimes it displays fine. I've noticed that the same occurs in the original version of the adaption (see third demo on http://particletree.com/examples/lightbox/). Anybody have any ideas how to fix this simple but irritating and usability-decreasing problem using a code fix?
Or should I just switch to another Lightbox adaption?
Any tips would be appreciated.
No idea. Perhaps try Thickbox?
I can't replicate the issue. Perhaps its a focus issue?
Thanks for the responses...
Problem solved by putting the "lbContent" div INSIDE the "overlay" div and using a semi-transparent PNG as the background image instead of a colour (which at a lower opacity would have made lbContent semi-transparent too).
Maybe use lightwindow it supports pretty much everything ;)
