As a mozilla beta tester I am very angry at your post. Its your site that is wrong not netscape. Naetscape 6 is 100% standards complaint but does not support solppy code that IE allows. So really its IE's fault for allowing you to use sloppy code in the first place . Also check you netscape verion if it is PR1 then that has many bugs you should grab mozilla m16
any more quextions email me @ firstname.lastname@example.org
So the fact that Netscape 4.61 shows the web page perfectly suggests that 4.61 is not 100% standards compliant?
Soon to come,
Looks like he got you there. You could code a page PERFECTLY and netscape would still screw it up.
I have both Netscape 4.61 and Netscape 6 on my machine and when designing a site it looks perfectly fine in IE4&5 and Netscape 4.61 but looks absolutely c r a p in Netscape 6. Why can't Netscape get their act together and release a decent browser?
Would have preferred if the US laws forced Netscape to stop making browsers than splitting up MS.

More correctly versions of Netscape before version 6 would make a mess of your pages.
I for one must admit that it is very hard to write pages first time that are 100% standards compliant and display how you want them to, but with a little bit of work and the odd bit of browser detection here and there you can make a site that looks just how you want it in all 3 browsers.
