XML Books

After buggin them for 2 weeks, work has decided to get me an XML book...

Now the question is which?

Can anyone recommend a book?

I own the first edition...good stuff.

I agree with TWT, Wrox's book on XML (at least for beginners) is the best that I've come across!!! I haven't read their other one's on XML, but the beginners edition has a ton of pretty advanced stuff!

I have Professional XML by Wrox. Pretty comprehensive. Besides "pure" XML, it covers also SOAP, XSLT and other XML-related technologies.

so does the beginners edition, which was definitely a pleasant surprise. as you can tell I'm very enthusiastic about that book.

my edition covers:
xpath, xml dom, xslt, sax, css, schemas, ...doesn't touch toooo much on soap though.

I've been reading the O-Reilly 'Learning XML', they've got another one too...
'XML in a nutshell'

'Learning XML' has been great for explaining what the heck XML is and does, not real in-depth on examples though, and not really focused on one thing (like the web) But, well written and easy to grasp for basic concepts.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to go with Pro XML from Wrox, the 2nd edition

That is one XML I don't have, but I can recommend XML by Example by QUE.

Well, don't forget: you can download code examples from Wrox's website...as well as sample chapters, most of the time. I've bought, and avoided buying, several books because of that. Very useful. :)
