Can anybody tell me how to stream mp3 files from a website? I know how to do it with Real Audio but I'm not sure how to do this with MP3. Thanks in advance.

I doubt if you can, and even if you could, Real or Media player would be much more efficient.
I'm sure it is possible as MP3.com has it too.

Flash version 4 can stream mp3, and it is fast. If you set it up right, it can stream very well.
Why not try Shoutcast? You can find information about it at:
http://listen.to/internet.radio
and download the program at
http://www.shoutcast.com

As far as I know MP3 is automatically streamable from with RA or Media player. I have had no problems downloading the files as streamable from any website that I have been to.
