I have a frameset comprising of four frames.
Frame A is an ASP page
Frame B is a simple HTML page with Push Buttons
Frame C is another ASP page
Frame D is yet another ASP page.
Selecting Push Buttons from Frame B takes you to an ASP page where you select products from a Catalog and write to a database. This then re-directs you back to the frame set.
Frame C shows the dollar value of your purchases calculated by reading the database.
Frame D shows the actual purchases by reading from the database. I am using the following meta tags in the ASP pages:
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="expires" CONTENT="0">
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">
I find every once in a while I still need to press the refresh button to see the latest Total value of Purchases in frame C!
check your browser settings. or your IHP. we ran into a problem where our IHP's machines where caching our pages and it took 2-3 hrs for them to be updated!!!
