I have purchased and installed both of these scripts, but I'm having a lot of trouble modifying them.
Can anyone on this board help me with the modifications? I have no problem compensating someone for the work. I'm just having a hard time finding someone...

I am pretty sure that vBulletin will help you out. They also have an extensive "hacks" section for additions that users have made to their code.
