It really sounds like that when I read it again... sorry. I am NOT going to get married tomorrow and the three persons described really are my chefs. Although they are more like friends anyway.

An old lady here had two of these laying outside under the stairs for years. too bad I was to young to take hand of them back then.

Haha. I learned sewing with one of those, the best damn reliable machines. Never have I found one better. All the electronic stuff gets out off line, the thread things tighten up on you and so on. Yea, I vote for one of those tread (foot paddle) machines. At your own pace as well.
