Well this is my first post here...

I am working on http://tech.hytekcomputer.com and need to make a mailing list for the site, so I can send out daily newsletters, etc. I would like one that rely's on my server 100% and doesn't run off a 3rd Party service. I am running Windows 2000 Advanced Server and have Exchange 5.5 SP4 (It would be great if it integrates with Exchange).

Just need something like Sitepoint has on their main page. Text Box for E-Mail address and a submit button...

Hey Josh...a few things...

What Scripting languages are you capable of using on your server? With Win2K the default would obviously be ASP, but have you installed other scripting languages?

A great place to look for apps that would accomplish what you need would be www.hotscripts.com.

One of our own members (petesmc) has a mailing list management system listed on hotscripts. It has received a 5 out of 5 rating. It is called MyMail and it runs with PHP and mySQL.

why didn't you tell me about that earlier! its neW! no wonder i didn't see it...

petesmc..i'm taking a look..hve to install it and see how it functions....outa add screenshots if you can't have a demo =)

I just went to your site http://www.codingclick.com/MyMail/ and I click on the download nat the download screen ... without entering the email and name :)

And it give me these error message :-

Please go back and enter your name!
Please go back and enter a valid email address!

Obvously you need your name and the email.
but the header is an error...hmm

I'll tell the people that wrote the script. I noticed that earlier but didn't bother with it that much.
