I'm looking to create the phrase ".com" but have it orientated vertically (running bottom to top, opposed to left-right.)
I know I can use a graphic, but the page I am using it on is likely to be high traffic and bandwidth will be a large consideration. The rest of my site uses CSS for the titles and a series of IE only filters to brighten it up.
Is there any alternative to creating a graphic, I foresee it to be much less bandwidth intensive to have a <td> with text set to a "vertical" orientation???
Is it possible?
I don't believe there is a way to set a "vertical orientation" attribute. You could have a narrow cell, though.
I just find it hard to believe that you can get a dhtml script that creates flowing, snake-like, bouncing, rotating text but there isn't an easy way to do a 90 degree rotation :bawling:
