What is going on?
I changed the size of my text as well as the face of the text to verdana from arial and now my horizontal menu is messed up. There is a space underneith the text causing separation and they drop down menu on the "health products" link is screwed! Can someone take a look and see if you see anything that is wrong with my code? The site address is located at http://www.geocities.com/deronsizemore/index5.htm
Well, the problem is your first LI style (which draws the border) is not a tall (height) as the containing UL. The font change probably increase the size. You can correct this two ways. 1. Decrease the first UL to 14px height, and it will fit. 2. ad height: 16px; to the first LI (the one which contains the border-right declaration).
Hope that helps :)
I'll give that a shot. thank ya much
will this fix also fix that drop down box? It was jacked up as well.
For the first solution yes. So under #navbar if you change the height to height: 14px; it will look correct.
For the second solution make LI height: 16px; AND LI A and LI A:HOVER height: 16px;
