I have two companies who are interested in buying text ads for my site's weekly newsletter. We have over 2000 subscribers and our audience is very well targetted. (I run the only significant site focusing on a particular genre of computer games. It is unique and highly respected.)
I am not quite sure what kind of money to ask. What do you think is a reasonable price for a newsletter like ours? Also, how much should generally be asked for a sponsored text link on a website? (Our provider doesn't allow any outside banner ads.)
For your newsletter advertisements you should probably be asking for about double the CPM that you ask for for the main banner on your site. If it is highly targeted then you could perhaps ask for more than most people on any kind of advertising.
The text link on your site depends on placement, number of words etc.
I don't know the CPM of the banner ads since that's strictly my provider's responsibility. I get a share of the revenues but I do not participate in getting the ads from the companies.
