PHP Accessible Tables
I've written an accessible table using standard html coding, but I want to POST to a php file that will show the user's the input they provided and give them the opportunity to go back and modify what they've done.
The problem I'm having accessible table code
<td><label for="Email">E-Mail Address:</label></td>
<td><input maxlength="50" id="Email" size="25" type="text" /></td>
forces me to use id instead of name.
So in my php file I have:
echo "<BR>You typed <b>" . $_POST['Email'] . "</b> in the textbox.\n";
... but the $_POST[' '] is trying to read name and not id . Anyone have any ideas how I can get the php to read id instead?
the solution is simple: use both name and id
incidentally, it gets interesting once you have radio buttons...they will all have the same name, so that they're mutually exclusive, but each will have a unique id, as they need a unique label associated. so you'll have something like
<input type="radio" name="blah" id="blahyes" value="1"><label for="blahyes">yes</label><br />
<input type="radio" name="blah" id="blahno" value="0"><label for="blahno">no</label>
AHHHHHH.... that is a great example of "thinking too hard!"
