"Good book for learning jQuery, especially when studying web development using javascript."

Henrik Lundqvist 4 stars, 14 Jan 2012

"I gave this epack as a gift to my husband. He LOVES it. This is one of the most useful books he's ever had and he raves about how great it is. Plus it was SO affordable!"

Courtney Lewis 5 stars, 13 Jan 2012

"After refusing to see a need to learn javascript because it would not be a help in my web designs I was hesitant to even read this book. After the very first day I was really excited as to what jquery would mean to my design customers. As usual sitepoint out did themselves. Thanks guys
Don Young"

Donald Young 5 stars, 13 Jan 2012

"This book provides an excellent introduction to jQuery and then progressing rapidly onto building more functionality on to the basics.
The book provides good advice on best practices and how to build jQuery functionality onto existing usable non-javascript website functionality."

Gareth Dawson 5 stars, 12 Jan 2012

"I just wonder if there is a code available together with the electronical format of book"

Guntis Endzelis 4 stars, 12 Jan 2012

"There's far too little in-depth explanation about anything for anyone to truly become a jQuery Ninja from reading this book. I can learn more from reading the jQuery API."

Joseph Zimmerman 2 stars, 7 Jan 2012

"Seems like a good book, I got the download of the PDF but book was never delivered so no, I won't be ordering from you again."

Ola Taube 2.5 stars, 30 Nov 2011

"great book. exactly what i was looking for -- something thorough that also quickly covered the very basics of jquery."

brian kusler 5 stars, 12 Nov 2011

"Book is so great I purchased it...twice. I didn't realize that I had already purchased it as part of a bundle a few months back (hadn't had a chance to read it). A way to easily view previous orders would be appreciated."

Mary B. Welsch 5 stars, 27 Oct 2011

"I loved this book. It was a great follow up to "How to build your website the right way". I was able to build a nice website from the two books, in less then eight weeks without having any knowledge of HTML, CSS or jQuery. I even managed to impress my professional web designer friends. Now I'm itching to learn PHP, MySQL and Mobile App/websites for smart devices! Thank you!"

Josh Lawson 5 stars, 12 Oct 2011

"I found this book easy to follow and understand and I got the chance to use some of what I had learned within weeks.

"I knew nothing of jquery before reading the book and feel I now have a good understanding of it through this easy reading."

Mark Fahy 4 stars, 25 Sep 2011

"One of the best web development books I've read. jQuery: Novice to Ninja is clearly laid out and has great examples that lead you step-by-step. Excellent!"

Simon Lincoln 5 stars, 22 Sep 2011

"Great book and very entertaining. The examples are relevant and the order that the information is presented in makes a lot of sense and speeds the path to becoming a ninja. The only con is that some early examples use syntax that has not been explained yet - so the examples become more confusing than they need to be. It's a nice way to introduce new coding methods, but a sidebar explaining the concept would be helpful."

Ryan Pudloski 4 stars, 15 Sep 2011

"I have been crazy busy and I haven't yet had a moment to open the book up and start working through it. All I know is that it came highly recommended from a co-worker.
Based on that, I will give the book 8/10."

Craig Hartel 4 stars, 26 Jul 2011

"I'm a return Sitepoint customer, from order to arrival everything runs smoothly and the books are great."
