Here is what our customers are saying about this product.

"So after being out of the hands-on web development game for several years I had the opportunity to jump back in. After browsing several books I decided to go with this one as a way of grasping the fundamentals of JQuery.

"It's awesome. The demo files in particular are well done, step by step and the writing is easy to follow and oftentimes amusing. Great book."

Eric Wise 5 stars, 22 Jul 2012

"Went from very beginner to fairly advanced techniques. The examples were good and sometimes humorous which made it a fun read. Also, the examples were from a slightly older version of jQuery (1.4), but still applicable."

Michael Spackman 5 stars, 28 Mar 2012

"This book is clear and straight forward with invaluable tips and best practices.
Highly recommended."

Ron G. 4 stars, 17 Mar 2012

"Like the book very much. Easy ready and helpful.
I use it more as a reference and to dive in where I need to learn more

"- can you include things like manipulation of common html elements like dropdown list option = adding/remove option and others"

"As always, the SitePoint team makes a fairly sophisticated subject much easier to understand. I really had no idea what jQuery was all about until I started in to the book. I see now that it's going to help me a great deal as I expand my scripting repertoire. My only gripe is that just after I bought the book, they came out with an update. I hate that."

Don Reese 5 stars, 17 Feb 2012

"Great read! I love learning about JQuery and really feel like I have a better understanding of how it works and some cool effects. Highly recommend all the books from Sitepoint!"

Kevin Kendle 5 stars, 17 Feb 2012

dan trujillo 5 stars, 17 Feb 2012

"Its a great book and the first time I bought a book as a PDF. PDF worked better for something like this as if you have the code and the PDF in the cloud you can continue working from any machine. Book is simple to follow and I didn't find myself wondering how the book gets to any stages, every step is there. A great book for beginners and people who have tinkered but lack a good grounding"

Gavin Stokes 5 stars, 16 Feb 2012

"Well I am still a novice for now. This book is making jQuery much more understandable and I look forward to applying it in my development work."

Curtis C James 4 stars, 24 Jan 2012

"This book has taken me from my current knowledge and brought me to the next level in no time! Highly recommend this book!"

Jonathan Lavoie-Levesque 5 stars, 20 Jan 2012

"The book is very nice because now I learn to understand more how jQuery works. Implementing jQuery is easy, but I always like to know how things work myself! I like the way how the book is written, it makes a book you want to read. :)

"There are a lot of jQuery I wasn't familiar with, reading the book during these weeks will learn me a lot of new things!

"Great book!"
