But over time, I realised most of the books I read were wholly outdated, irrelevant or bug ridden. I wasted a lot of time, on forums figuring out how to get around bugs and all.
"Then I bought this book two days ago, from the christmas sale. I've read it already, it was an easy read. Most of the things I already knew, but I needed a formal approach to it.
"So far, I regret wasting a year and a half attempting to save money thinking all books were the same. I should have saved money by purchasing from sitepoint from the start.
"With the great read I've made, You guys have won me over. I'll be looking at buying Simply Ruby, Running Webserver...etc... at the sale.
"I should have realised I could have saved more money doing it this way."

Now I've decided to start all over again but wanted to catch up with the latest standards and practices and "get it all right", which I probably never really have before. This book has been perfect for this, and I'll recommend it to anyone whether you're completely new to web design or just need to catch up with the latest stuff and correct some of your bad programming habits.
