"I have enjoyed reading some of the chapters. I ordered this book because I have Flash MX 2004 at home. I tried one of the examples at work, where we have Flash 8 and it didn't work! I tried debugging etc, but haven't yet figured it out since I am relatively new to Actionscript."

"Its a good book in that its well laid out and it explains itself well whilst encouraging you to work things out for yourself. However, the effects really aren't that cool. Some look amateurish and there's very little that i've found use for in practical terms at all. The navigation section is good with some useful stuff but the text effects, sound effects and animations aren't very impressive."
