"I've read some books, a lot of forums, did a lot of trainings on the subject. All were good for standard website development. This book came at the perfect time to take it to a higher level. I sincerely enjoyed reading the vision behind each technique as well as the practical implementation.

"Thanks to the authors! Looking forward to your future publications.

Yuwei Zhao 4 stars, 12 Apr 2008

"I was exceptionally pleased with this book as it helped me understand the more advanced side of CSS designing. The exercises were clear and concise and very easy to follow. The problems I had previously encountered with CSS were easily explained in this book.
I would very much recommend this book and also “The CSS Anthology” as a great insight to CSS design."

Warren Dunn 5 stars, 9 Apr 2008

"I thought this was a great book. Although I was looking for more of a primer and a "cheat sheet", this gave me a lot of good ideas for design and implementation and added some additional clever tips to my ever-expanding CSS toolbox. I've got post-it flags and highlights throughout the book and will implement some of the techniques for my next client.

"While this is not a "reference" book, per se, it is a really good practical project implementation manual, well written and easy to understand.

"Very worthwhile purchase.
Thank you."

"A very good book. As someone who has been coding for a couple of years, its taught me again to go back to minimal amounts of good, compliant code and still be able to get the job done perfectly. There are a mulitude of examples and written in such a way to enable anyone to take them and implement them in a huge number of ways. I appreciate all the work that went into this book, as its made me a better coder."

"I do CSS all day, but I still found enough good new ideas to be well worth the price of the book."

Charles Ott 4 stars, 17 Jan 2008

"Book was good but didn't really dig into the subject and chapters, such as the fieldset layout chapter only worked one example. Could have done ALOT more on that topic."
