"The book is very complete and easy reading at the same time. =D"

Pedro Paulo Mendes Pereira 5 stars, 22 Aug 2012

"I'm most definitely glad about this book.
Everything is explained great, the structure of the book is also very good.
It's clean and easy to understand.

"At most, I love the OOP article. It's the best one I've read so far.

"Keep it up Sitepoint !"

Robbe Ingelbrecht 4.5 stars, 27 Jul 2012

"The book deals with several high-level concepts such as design patterns, OOP, security, and performance tuning. Yet, it maintains easy-to-read language throughout itself. Also, it displays many code examples to demonstrate the topic at hand. I enjoyed reading it and will keep it as a reference.

"I wish it had a project running throughout the book to which each chapter added."

Michael Pearson 4 stars, 19 Jul 2012

"Well, the book seems awesome. Also, I got a good deal by buying the PDF and printed book.

"My only complaint would be that it took a looong time to get here..."

Rene Bon Ciric 5 stars, 15 Jul 2012

"I bought this ebook and very much I am satisfied.
It is a very helpful position concerning PHP, written in the intelligible language even for beginners among which I rank.
I recommend everyone progresses irrespective of the level in PHP.

Krzysztof Kamienski 5 stars, 11 Jun 2012

"By and large, the book is written clearly. I liked the selection of topics, but some of them were covered more superficially than I liked. Also, at places, I hankered for some code snippets. But, overall, I benefited from the book and don't regret the purchase."

Jane Hadley 4 stars, 30 May 2012

"Great content - strteched me to start with - but that's whatI was seeking."

chris davis 5 stars, 26 May 2012

"Some parts went to fast & sometimes I wished some more links were provided to dig deeper into stuff.
It covers so much in relatively little space. I'd like to see separate books on most of the topics covered in this book."

Henjo Hoeksma 4 stars, 18 May 2012

"WOW A lot of information.
Had the book for 3 weeks now and still going through it.
It will make a reference tool as well"

Eugene Basciuk 5 stars, 20 Mar 2012

"Been programming in PHP for a while but mostly straight up coding. I had been needing to delve into the OOP and Web Services realm for a while for some projects and this book really got me up to speed quickly. And for those of us who have been unable to go back for much needed classes, the chapter on design patterns was very educational!"

Joshua Radetski 4 stars, 24 Feb 2012

"This book is really one of the greatest books I've ever come across for PHP language. The concepts have been made understandable keeping in mind for all types of PHP developers - whether they be basic / intermediate / expert.
Always recommendable!
Please try to continue writing more of such books for us!"

Anutosh Ghosh 5 stars, 20 Feb 2012

"Great PHP book for intermediate develepors with a fair level of PHP knowledge - The book covers some key areas in detail whilst skipping on a lot of the basics. Well written with few errors"

Ingmar Boddington 4.5 stars, 16 Feb 2012

"Very comprehensive book. Touches alot of interesting and helpful areas. Takes your skills to the next level."

jochen hartz 5 stars, 16 Feb 2012

"Quick delivery after placing an order."

Aaron Russell 5 stars, 17 Jan 2012

"I've only read bits and pieces so far. There are some helpful nuggets in there for sure. But, as with other advanced PHP books I've read, it still doesn't go far enough.

"Specifically I'm looking for ways to make PHP projects more robust. As an example, how do you handle both errors and exceptions as if they are always exceptions, so you don't have to deal with both separately? And how do you accomplish static code analysis to catch potential coding errors when using third party libraries?"
