Clearly written with helpful guidelines. The case example is in line with the type of projects that I'm exposed to.

The book takes a real world view of project management using relevant examples and giving useful advice. I have worked on many software projects in the past, and find the approach presented in the book to be very accurate. I intend to recommend the book to others in the newly formed Project Management group at work.

An excellent introduction with real world examples to clarify the writer's points. The only weakness is in recommended services, none of which were acceptable to my needs as head of a software company. I did a lot of research, probably 20 hours or more when I count signing up and trying products, and ended up with http://www.devshop.com/. It still isn't the best, with minimal export of data for reports, and no export to Microsoft Project, but it is serving us well.

Well written with clear guides and helpful tips. I love the variations on using the principles with differing levels of detail. The book arrived so quickly, I was able to begin using it immediately. The poster is a great help; wish there was a pocket-sized tip card. Meri, great job!

Only a seven at the moment, as I've not finished reading the book in its entirety. What I've read and implemented so far leads me to believe the final review would garner a 9 or a 10.
Concepts and practices offered are if not enlightening, then at least confirmation that I've not been to far off with my suggestions to our ever-growing firm.
Thanks for your efforts Meri!

I have purchased many of your books in the past, and I am always satisfied. They are always presented in an easy to read format, and they look very presentable. I have gained a wealth of knowledge from them, and look forward to many more in the future.

Merri Williams brings her wit and years of experience together in a unique way that makes this book extremely informative yet eminently more enjoyable and readable for someone like me with no real knowledge of PM.
I can see keeping this one handy as I start my next project.

I don't need to comment on the content of the book beyond a simple "it's excellent". What I do need to comment on is the horrible spelling. Often times the author sprinkles a "to" seemingly after every other word and then when it's actually needed it's not there, not to mention the instances of "it's" where it should be "its". Did this book receive no spell checking at all or what?

I have not yet received the book as the book is still in transit to Australia, yet I received an email ( Wed 28/05/2008 ) requesting a live review ?! Without seeing it I would rate it a 7 and I would be more than likely to buy from your company again if there was some sort of email alert service I could sign up to that alerted me to new Prince2 resources.

Great book, a must read for project management beginners as well as project management professionals already being bored from PMBOK etc...
A real refreshing approach to project management, covering all the topics that really matter.
