If you're wanting to learn PHP/MySQL from the ground up, this is certainly the way to do it. The book came highly recommended, and I now know why.
Excellent layout, step-by-step instruction, and carefully crafted examples that really bring the points of the text home.
If you're like me, you've looked at many books on this subject. I had great difficulty finding one that not only TAUGHT me how to use PHP, but did so with real-world examples AND attention to standards!
I can't say this enough... buy it, you won't be disappointed!

Well Kevin you have done it again only better. I thought Vol.3 was as good as it could get but this has improved on that. The screen prints with arrows showing what to click on were a real help to me. Keep up the good work.
One critisism though ;-( Is there some way you can put on this site something to show when a URL or the filename changes as in PHP has changed from 5.2 to 5.3.
Still I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn PHP/MySQL from the ground up.
