Excellent book. I did quite a lot of HTML and CSS programming some years ago, but then took a break for a few years. Now I've decided to start all over again but wanted to catch up with the latest standards and practices and "get it all right", which I probably never really have before. This book has been perfect for this, and I'll recommend it to anyone whether you're completely new to web design or just need to catch up with the latest stuff and correct some of your bad programming habits. The book is well written and structured also. Thanks!

This book was a fantastic read. I highly recommend it. The content kept me involved and interested from beginning to end. Usually I get bored with these books and don't finish after I have found the specifics that brought me in the first place. I finished this book completely in two days including the site build.

I'm new to web design but have a strong graphic background. This book has weaned me off of Dreamweaver and started me on the path of learning my craft by hand-coding! What a wonderful way to learn. If I ever return to Dreamweaver at least I'll know what I'm doing and why.
