About the Author

Chu Yeow is a software developer by day, a blogger by night, and a sometime freelance Web developer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He keeps a well-read Mozilla-related blog titled redemption in a blog, where he posts the latest Mozilla-related news and Firefox tips, and reviews worthy extensions and random technical tidbits.

Chu Yeow has written several articles for SitePoint, in particular contributing Firefox tips for its community newsletter, the Community Crier. He is also a SitePoint Forums moderator and holds the appointment of Programming Team Advisor.

When he isn't working, this self-professed geek enjoys tinkering with his hosted Gentoo Linux box, anime, World of Warcraft (just one more level!), and good fantasy books.

About The Technical Editor

Asa Dotzler is best known for his work on the Mozilla project. In addition to being the QA lead, including his role as community quality advocate for the project, Dotzler is also the Firefox and Thunderbird product release manager. When he's not helping new contributors test Mozilla and report bugs, he's working to define requirements for, and ship, Mozilla product releases. Asa maintains an active Weblog with an emphasis on Mozilla development and news.

His other interests include the exploration of Mars and other astronomy-related matters, general technology news, and his pet cat, Ptolemy, a female so-named for her feline-centric view of the universe (after Claudius Ptolemaeus and his geocentric theory).
