Hi Alyssa. Great info, thank you. I was also not aware that June was National Entrepreneur Do-it-Yourself Marketing Month in the U.S. How did you learn of that?
I also think it is important for entrepreneurs to exploit all avenues and strategies available to them for marketing their businesses and you have listed a great list of options for them to do no matter what business they may be in especially the off-line strategies.
I own http://www.ProtectOneself.com and utilize a lot of off-line marketing for my business however, I really like your suggestion #17 – Start reviewing your website analytics – as I feel that many online entrepreneurs may ignore this critical data.
Thanks again,
Drew

Nice article. Now with the exponential growth of online content and the rising cost of paid search, positive results are becoming increasing more difficult to attain. You should also consider today’s niche-oriented, social media infused directories. They are welcomed, needed, and making a comeback, big time. http://www.mformer.com/

That’s a very useful check-list of basic marketing techniques. I am looking for permanent and contract work in Somerset and I am already using 7 of these techniques and have short-listed another 20 to start implementing.

These were great suggestions. Some of them I’m already doing, but I will implement the rest right away. As well, I find it great to be active on the social networking sites and ping.fm can update all of them at once for you.

Great list. One on there I am already putting to use is the video uploading. I mainly create short videos that lead to my website. Then I try to upload to as many places as possible. I get the best results from posting video free to http://www.Adwido.com they also help run a targeted keyword campaign to boost traffic from search engines.
