Why install the ClickDrag Firefox extension when you can center click or ctrl-click on a link to open it in a new tab? I learned the center click trick right here on Sitepoint. Kevin, I’m surprised you didn’t mention that.

Firefox Quick Drag/Tab? Middle click the link and it will open in a new tab.
Also to quickly close a tab: middle click it.

I really enjoy the podcast.
I have a tip for you all. You discussed a Firefox extension where you clicked and dragged on a link to open it in a new tab. If you have a mouse with a middle button, you can just click on a link with it and a new tab opens. You can ask it to open behind the current tabs or on top. This feature is native to Firefox and I find it quicker than dragging even a bit.
Keep up the great work.

I don’t have a middle button on my mouse, so anything helps :)

I’ll be at SXSW Interactive for the first time next month. It’s going to be hard to decide which presentations to go to since there are so many at the same times. Enjoyed the podcast and info provided. Hit me up at padam2k {{at}} gmail {{dotcom}} if anybody wants to meet up. I hit follow on somebody I saw from sitepoint in the my.sxsw.com site.
