Find Us a Team Leader, Get a MacBook Pro!

by Kevin Yank

SitePoint Solutions needs a Lead Developer and we’re willing to bribe you with shiny and expensive trinkets (the MacBook Pro pictured here) to help us find one.

Working within our fast growing solutions division, the new hire would work in our Melbourne office, and be responsible for leading a small team of developers creating custom web applications for clients around the world.

How do you get it?

Simple. All you need to do is use our shiny, new form to tell your friend/colleague/aquaintance about the position.

If they get the job, a shiny new Macbook Pro is yours—it’s that easy.

  1. Interesting post, nice prize for the referal. I have a friend who would suit for the job but he works for another big company.

    Best of luck

  2. Hehe, I hardly think Smith Street, Collingwood is an Inner-city location!

FWIW, I’d prefer Smith to Collins anyways. Good location.

  3. Can you refer yourself? Then I could have a Macbook Pro and a great job! ;)

  4. For a lead developer role, I thought there would be some details about the ‘leadership’ aspects of the position. Having the development skills and experience is one thing but leading and managing a team is something different and the lack of information regarding this will mean you’ll attract more of what you already have, developers, not lead developers.

Rewrite the job add and you may find you’ll start attracting the right people with the right experience.

Ah, that’s the idea, send him the link. We’re not expecting our ideal candidate to be sitting at home watching Jerry!

Yes, you can refer yourself and win the prize!

We’re only a few km’s from the city.

  6. Will the winner receive the MacBook in the photo, that looks like it is being deopped on a Web 2.0 floor or will it be brand new in box?

  7. That computer hasn’t been dropped — we had it in the box and it jumped out and did a dance of its own accord, it was so full of personality.

Yes the prize machine is brand spankin’.
