Via Neil – MozNGW – a cross platform client for GroupWise (Novell’s groupware suit with much in common with Lotus Notes or Microsoft’s Outlook + Exchange) build with Mozilla’s XUL ( what’s XUL?). Very cool stuff.
Also interesting is some of the other projects RedbackSystems are working on such as WebACT (seems to be an XUL based equivalent to phpMyAdmin and uses PHP to act as the server side “listener”) and XULU, a framework for building XUL applications. Nothing to download and play with yet, unfortunately but looking at their earlier XULU prototype xAe (SVG plugin required) makes me think these guys are more than just mouth.

This is very cool stuff.
Im a co-founder of the phpGroupWare project and with the way they have things setup here, I think we can have the new phpgroupware code we are working on, act as a drop in replacement for the groupwise server.
What I cannot find on their site is a licensing statement. If its open source, that would be very cool.
